Laodicea

After we left the villa, we drove on to a place in Pammukkale. In Turkish that means "Cotton Castle", now Molly and my mom and dad had
been here before while i was at camp. The first day we got there we drove to a place not far from our hotel, called Laodicea. This is one of the seven churches John writes to in Revelation. These are some pictures of the remains that have already been uncovered, but there are still some things left to do. It was a good stop, but unfortunately Molly got sick when we arrived there and stayed that way until the end of the trip.

We had a lot of fun at the villa, and I just decided to show you a little bit more!!

Fantastic boat trip

This was the day we spent on the boat. We had a great time. We saw a sunken city. We got to snorkel a lot and eat a nice meal on the boat. We swam in freezing cold water and sunbathed on the boat!! We had a lot of fun and even got off the boat to do some sight seeing then journey back to our car! We had a fantastic time!

Patara Beach

The day after we went to the Gorge, we ventured to Patara Beach! It was a lot of fun, but also very very hot! We had to apply sunscreen almost every 30 minutes, (at least it felt that way!) We buried people in sand and built an incredible sand castle!! Molly got a little sting from a jellyfish, but she recovered very quickly!! Over all it was a great day!!

The Gorge

On the fifth day we were there, we went to Saklikent Gorge! It was an amazing sight, there was a river flowing between two rocks which separated them! It was incredible!! We had a lot of fun... It took a long time to go to the end and back out the entrance but it was definitely worth it!!
